Spray booths & powder recovery
Our coating booths cover the entire spectrum of industrial powder coating: from manual open spray booths to closed manual booths (with optional floor extraction) to fully automated booths with integrated powder recovery. Efficient airflow, two-stage filter systems, and modular design ensure high coating quality and low operating costs.
Product Overview: Types & Applications
Automatic Powder Coating Booths (Enclosed)
- Fully automatic booths with robotics/lifting systems
- Integrated powder recovery (cyclone, sieve, centrifuge)
- High powder yield, reproducible quality, for series production
Enclosed Manual Powder Coating Booths
- Enclosed working environment with controlled airflow
- Optional: Floor extraction for optimized overspray capture
- Ideal for medium batch sizes with higher quality requirements
Open Spray Walls (Manual)
- Open design, direct extraction behind the workpiece
- Space-saving, flexible, for individual parts and small batches
- Economical solution for frequent color changes
Filter Systems
- Two-stage filter system (pre-filter + fine filter) for manual workstations
- Multi-stage filters + recovery for automatic systems
Why Our Coating Booths?
- Tailor-made solutions for automotive, metal construction, mechanical engineering, and profile manufacturers.
- Focus on energy efficiency (low powder consumption), occupational safety, and ease of maintenance.
- Focus on customer-specific technical and economic requirements
- Optional integrations: Powder center, oven connection, PLC control with touch panel.
- After-sales: Consulting, spare parts, testing and documentation packages.
Operating principle & advantages (briefly explained)
Process (summary):
Feed zone → Spray zone (booth/spray wall) → Extraction & filter → Powder recovery (for automatic systems) → Oven/dryer
Customer benefits:
- Higher coating quality through optimized airflow
- Reduced material costs through recovery or efficient filtration
- Clean production and shorter cleaning times with floor extraction
- Flexible adaptation to hall layout and conveyor technology
Floor extraction
With floor extraction, the air is directed from top to bottom and extracted via the booth floor. This option reduces turbulence, improves overspray capture, and facilitates cleaning.
Key Benefits of Floor Extraction
- More uniform airflow → more consistent coating thicknesses
- Effective overspray capture → reduced powder loss
- Less powder buildup on walls and workpieces
- Faster cleaning and shorter downtimes
- Improved workplace hygiene and reduced dust exposure
Selection Criteria: Which solution is right for you?
Consider:
- Production volume (number of pieces/shift)
- Color change frequency
- Workpiece size & geometry
- Space available and conveyor system interfaces
- Investment vs. operating costs
Recommendation:
- For series production → automatic booths with recovery.
- For variable single-item production and workshops → open spray booths or closed manual booths (with/without floor extraction).
